Denise is a serial entrepreneur / business manager who has successfully built three companies and is delighted to share the knowledge gained from 25 years in enterprise.
She is dedicated to overcoming barriers in business and influencing change. She learned that the key success factors were common to all three businesses and firmly believes in staying true to the company's vision and delivering the best product available to the market.
Both Schoolspace and Way2Pay are disrupted companies, completely changing peoples behaviour. Each innovative, offering users a better / easier way to operate. Schoolspace launched a School SMS platform which enabled schools to instantly notify parents of school events, where previously parents were phoned or formally written to. It was a game changer ten years ago, since then many schools have signed up to SMS, in fact today almost every school in Ireland communicates with parents by Text Message. Way2Pay followed suit by changing how parents pay for school activities, enabling parental payments to take place on a smart phone rather than bringing money to school in an envelope. Way2Pay has partnered with Three Ireland and now on line parental payments are widely available in schools across Ireland.
Being a mother of three she navigates school gate guilt and the world of work with “best foot forward” attitude. “Get up, do the best everyday, make small steps towards big goals, rest well and start again the following day”
